CONOSCENZE DISCIPLINARI | Argomenti svolti FOUNDATION UNIT Grammar: Imperatives, let’s, to be, subject pronouns, demonstrative pronouns (this/that/these/those), plural nouns, possessive adjectives and pronouns, possessive ‘s, can, there is/are, prepositions to indicate positions, telling the time. Vocabulary and speaking: Classroom language, numbers, stating one’s age, nationalities, colours, family members, rooms and furniture, days of the week, months, seasons, ordinal numbers. UNIT 1 Grammar: Present simple, adverbs of frequency, forming questions with the present simple UNIT 2 Grammar: Countable/uncountable nouns, some/any, much, many, a lot of, articles Vocabulary: names of foods, food containers, verbs for cooking. UNIT 3 Grammar: Present continuous, differences of use between present simple/continuous Vocabulary: Jobs, work related terminology UNIT 4 Grammar: comparative and superlative adjectives, have to/don’t have to. Vocabulary: appearance, clothes and shopping for clothes. UNIT 5 Grammar: must, have to, should, past simple (be, can) Vocabulary: school terminology UNIT 6 Grammar: different uses of do, go, play. Past simple for regular and irregular verbs (NOTA: nel corso dell’anno è stato chiesto agli studenti di trascrivere, tradurre e memorizzare gradualmente la tabella dei verbi irregolari presente a pag 298). Forming questions and negative sentences with the past simple Vocabulary and Speaking: sport terminology, asking for and giving advice. UNIT 7 Grammar: past continuous and its different uses compared to the past simple, used to (con accenni a would) Vocabulary and Speaking: technology terms, scientific fields and jobs, terms for describing temperature, telling a story. UNIT 8 Grammar: future tenses: Will, be going to, present continuous, present simple for timetabled events/departures Vocabulary: nature and environment terminology, weather. |
